The Rest of June

Here are some pictures from the month of June that didn't make it into a post already.

We celebrated Miley's birthday at the June Nelson Family party.  The party was at the Irion's so we got to go swimming before we ate dinner!

I got this picture from our primary president while we were in Hawaii.  Katelyn is obsessed with her Sunbeams teacher, Brother Jensen.  He is really tall and she just looks so tiny sitting next to him.

We have a fun park by our house that the girls love to go to.  It is sandy and has a zip line and fun slides but they love to play in the little creek the most.  This time we decided to just wear their suits since they always get so wet anyway!

The girls were being extra quiet one morning so Todd went to check on them once it passed the time when they usually come into our room and he found them trying to hide under their covers watching a show on Todd's iPad that they had sneaked into their room.

June was also the month that we found our we were having a little boy! (we took this picture in Hawaii, just in case). I sort of suspected that it was a boy since I was so sick this time around.  Everyone was pretty excited except for Katelyn.  She was pretty devastated for a few hours after we found out, poor girl.  She has warmed up to the idea now though, so she is a little more excited.

We gave Miley a bubble machine for her birthday and she loves it!  She also looks like a 4 year old in this picture.

Emma has decided that she wants to be a runner like her dad.  I went running with her one morning and she ran just under one mile.  She was so proud of herself for "proving dad wrong" because I guess he told her she needed to be a little older.  She has been a couple of time since this and is still enjoying it.  She is the cutest.

We had a week where the temperature was over 100 every day and we were all melting.  We decided to head to the splash pad by our house to cool off.  Miley wasn't sure how she felt about it at first but she eventually warmed up and didn't want to leave.

We ran into one of Emma's preschool friends, Olivia.  It was really funny to watch them, I guess they have really missed each other in the three weeks that they haven't been together.

One of the nice things (there aren't very many) about my parent's living out of the country is that we always get fun birthday packages in the mail!  Here is Miley opening hers, it was hard to say who loved it more, her or her sisters.

It was a very busy month and we had a blast!

Stella has also started swiping the iPad and playing it when she's not suppose to.... silly girls!
Brother Jensen is huge compared to little peanut Katelyn!
Maybe I will start sending your girls super fun boxes since your mom doesn't need too... unless I get lucky and move to Utah too! Huh!
