My mom, dad, and Spencer were able to come visit from Japan for General Conference. We love that even though they live far away they get to come home for a few days! This was Katelyn's first time meeting my Dad and Spencer so that made it even more fun. They were busy with alot of meetings and dinners and such but we squeezed in as much time with them as we could!
I love watching Emma with my mom, they are such great friends!
My dad's first time holding Katelyn, she looks thrilled.
We went to the zoo one day. It was a little chilly but we had a good time and the zoo was pretty much empty. I guess no one likes to go to the zoo in March.
For some reason, Emma is still terrified of the Merry-Go-Round. The moving animals freak her out. She did however, REALLY enjoy the benches that didn't move. She still is talking about them.
We also spent some time playing at the park. Emma loves slides and hates swings. She says "last time" for about 10 minutes before she will finally let us leave the park. I swear I fix her hair, it just only looks that way for about 20 minutes after I do it.
One day Kimberly was helping to put Emma in the car and she climbed up in the front seat, ripped off her glasses and handed them to Kimberly as she was putting on Todd's sunglasses and said "Here I don't need my glasses, I need mine sunglasses so mine can drive the car." She thinks she is so big. Still working on the proper use of my and mine.
We all were able to go to my cousin's new restaurant "Pallet" downtown. It was delicious and fun to spend time together. We missed Tally who came in town the next night.
In the break between the Sunday sessions of conference we were all able to have lunch together at the Church office building. It was the first time we have all been together since my parents moved to Japan. It is always nice to have everyone in the same room.
Emma thinks that "Tally California" is pretty cool. She doesn't believe that his last name is Ringwood. It has to be California because that is where he lives.
And here are just a few more pictures of the girls because I think they are cute.
Don't mind the wet shirt from all the drool.
Before everyone headed back to Japan and California we were able to spend some time shopping at City Creek. It was fun to be down there with the million other people that had the same idea as we did!
We love our family and any time that we get to spend with them! Can't wait until next time.

and then, when we were at city creek, my favorite friend jess saw me and she screamed out across the mall "MELISSA!!!!!!!" five times, but i just kept on talking on my phone and walking away and then she probably cried because of the missed friendship moment and she probably won't get over it. ever.
the end.
