5 Month Miley

Miley is 5 months old today!  She is getting so old, and chubby, and cute.  We love almost everything about her and are still really glad she is part of our family.

There are few things in my life more frustrating than trying to get a good picture of Miley.  She will be all smiles until we pull the camera out and then she just freezes up and stares.

She is finally getting the whole sleeping thing down and we are really grateful for that.  She goes to bed between 7:00 and 7:30 and sleeps until about 5:00 or 6:00 eats and then goes back to bed until about 8:30.  As long as she has her blanket and her binky she goes down without a fight about 95% of the time.  Way to go, baby girl.

She loves to stand up but shows zero interest in sitting up on her own.  If you try and get her to sit unassisted she will just arch her back until you are forced to lay her down again.  She is finally starting to grow her hair back but it is still pretty hard to see unless you are close to her.

She is very, very vocal and loves to make any noise she can.  Her happy screams can turn into mad screams in about 2 seconds though so you have to watch out.  She still loves her Dad the most and laughs if he even looks at her. She is starting to get really good about grabbing onto anything she can and sticking it right in her mouth. 

Miley might have finally figured out how to roll from her stomach to her back. I have only seen ut once though.  It has been a long month with her rolling onto her stomach and not knowing how to get back.  She did finally figure out what to do during tummy time because she gets stuck so often.  That doesn't mean she likes it for more than 3 seconds.
