Camden is 6 months old!

My Baby is six months old! I just can't believe how fast it went. It still seems like he should just be a newborn still. We just can't get enough Camden in our lives.

Camden is seriously the most snuggly little guy. He loves to just cuddle right into my neck when I pick him up and then hold on to the skin on my neck or on my cheek. He would probably stay there all day if it were a possibility. If he can't be snuggled up next to someone he likes to have his blanket or a soft toy right on his face at all times.

 Sleep patterns at night are all over the place.  He has slept through the night a handful of times this month but I would say he still wakes up 1-2 times a night as his norm. We have half-heartedly made him cry it out but it doesn't last very long because the only person that sleeps upstairs that sleeps through his crying is Todd. I am probably creating bad habits but it is easier to just go in and feed him and then he goes right back to sleep. His cuteness is the only thing that saves him.

He found his toes this month and loves to hold on to them when he is nursing. He also has to be chewing on his fingers or toes about 80% of the day or else he is sad. If he can't find his own fingers he will try to suck on whoever is holding him which usually results in him biting us. It is actually pretty painful.

 

Camden got to try his first solid food this month. So far the only thing that he has enjoyed is just a mushed up banana. He is pretty weird about the textures of other foods and usually just gags on them. 

He always has a nice fan club

Camden is kinda a high maintenance baby and is very good at letting you know when you aren't doing what he wants you to do. He can turn his cry on and off instantly. Lucky for him, he has three sisters who are almost always willing to play with him which is probably why he is so spoiled. He has occasionally been neglected long enough that he will just fall asleep in the middle of the floor though. Fourth child problems.

We love this happy little guy. There is just nothing like having a baby in your home! His smiles are the absolute best things ever.
