August Pictures

As always, here is the rest of the month of August in review.

Jeffrey and Brooke blessed Benson Bruce on August 7th. We went to their house after and had a great time.

Camden found out that the pantry holds all sorts of delicious treats. Now if you are holding him while you open the pantry door he will do his best to jump out of your arms.

We tried to get one last swim in before the pool closed for the summer, but our plans were ruined by an amazing summer thunderstorm. We decided, since we were already in our swim suits, to run out in the rain. After it stopped raining we ate our lunch that we had packed out on the driveway to warm up.

You can't really tell that it was raining from this picture, but there was a full on river in our street.

My mom brought Emma over her giant back to school cookie! She is the best. Emma was pretty excited. Katelyn and Miley also got their own cookie so they didn't feel left out. We found out the next day that Katelyn had strep so she was a good sport for at least trying to smile in her picture.

We took a few more pre-church family pictures.

Todd's oldest niece Maddy got married at the end of August so we enjoyed all of the wedding festivities surrounding that.  I love everything to do with weddings so I enjoyed hosting Maddy's bridal shower a few days before the big day (since they live in Colorado and were just coming into town for the wedding) and having Melissa, Maddy, and Meghan stay at our house for a few days leading up to the big day!

Katelyn had her friend Braelyn over to play one day and then she walked with us to pick their sisters up from school. They looked so cute holding hands the whole way there!

That about wraps it up for August! I love my little family and the memories that we get to make together!
