September was a pretty uneventful month for us so it wasn't documented very well. Here are the few pictures that we did remember to take!
Miley had her official first day of school. She has been waiting a long time to be big and go to preschool like her sisters. She loves it!
We visited the 9/11 healing field on our way to my parents house for dinner. It was interesting trying to explain what happened to our young kids but they liked looking at all of the flags to help them sort of grasp what happened.
We spent a lot of time outside. Going for walks, playing at the park, and riding bikes. Katelyn was so proud to master riding a two wheeler. She is still a little nervous at times but she is getting better every day. Her goal is to be able to ride her bike to school with Emma when she starts Kindergarten next year.
One day we were at my parents house for dinner and the girls wanted me to be in a fashion show with them. Todd didn't think that I would be able to fit into this dress-up. I barely made it in and it was really hard to get off.
These pictures of Miley just need to be documented.
Emma finally lost her first tooth! She was starting to feel bad that all of her friends had lost multiple teeth but she hadn't lost any. We noticed her tooth was loose the Sunday before she went off track at school for a month and Emma was really anxious because she wanted to lose it at school so she could get her name on the tooth wall in her classroom and get a necklace to put her tooth in. Lucky for her, it fell out that Thursday while she was at lunch. She was so excited to show me when I picked her up from school!
I went to the General Women's conference with Abby, my mom, and my aunt Britney. It was such a great meeting! Afterwards, we went over to City Creek to have dinner at Kneaders with the Marshes.
We tried to take some family pictures up at the cabin one Sunday but there were too many things going against us. We got some ok ones but the pictures that had good lighting had no one looking/smiling and the ones where we looked cute were too dark. We will have to try again but here are some of the pictures that sort-of turned out.
And that about wraps up September. It was nice to have a calm month before things start getting crazy with all of the holidays coming up!
