St. George Marathon

Todd decided to run the St. George Marathon again this year. His parents are still living in Hurricane, so it was nice to have somewhere close to stay this time.

We drove down Friday morning so the kids could play Friday afternoon and evening. They had fun playing with Grandma and Grandpa's toys and of course swimming!

Could there be a cuter picture of Camden?!

Katelyn needed to do her online preschool before we went to bed on Friday night and so naturally all four children needed to gather around me. Todd was nice to take a picture to document what about 80% of my life looks like.

The next morning, we woke up and got ready to go cheer Todd on at the finish line. Normally I like to try and see him a few times during the race, but with it being in St. George where I would most likely get lost, and having all four kids with me, we decided to just see him at the finish. He did so well, as usual, finishing in 3 hours and 14 minutes. We left Camden back with Grandma so he could take a nap, which ended up being a really good thing since Todd was feeling pretty gross after. It took us a while to get back to the house, which Camden would not have appreciated.

We spent the rest of the afternoon watching the afternoon session of General Conference, playing, and swimming. Later in the evening, while the boys were at the priesthood session, the kids and I swam some more and then the girls frosted some sugar cookies with their cousins.

The next day, we watched the morning session of conference. Emma was the greatest and sat next to me and took notes where she wrote things like "cwot" and "clos cwot" (quote and close quote) which just made me love her that much more.

After the morning session was over, we packed up and drove home while listening to the afternoon session. It was a fun weekend trip! I am always amazed that Todd enjoys running marathons but he seems to keep signing up for them so we will keep cheering him on!
