Easter

We had a great Easter this year!  Emma still didn't know what was going on but it was fun anyway!  Most of my family was in California on Easter so we celebrated a week early with them.  My mom made a yummy dinner, as always, and this cute dessert. Don't worry, Emma has overcome her fear of frosting since her birthday and ate the whole thing!

After dinner we dyed Easter eggs.  I am glad we did it there because I don't like hard-boiled eggs enough to do it at my house!

The Easter Bunny left Emma a short trail of candy while we were at church!

Emma needed alot of help to know she was supposed to put it in her basket and then got very distracted once she realized that Peeps were marshmallows covered in sugar.  Her favorite.

We had my Dad over to our house for dinner, but there are no pictures of that.  Thanks for coming Dad!  After that we went to the Glover's and Emma enjoyed another Easter egg hunt.

She didn't like putting her eggs in the sack, she must have thought that meant she didn't get to keep them.  Every time we put one in she would say "uh-oh" and pull it back out.

She was much happier to walk around with one in both hands!

And here are some of out best attempts to get a picture of Emma in her Easter dress.  Sometimes she really doesn't like to hold still for pictures.

We always love Easter!  It is a good excuse to spend lots of time with family members and more importantly, it gives us a chance to think about our Savior and His atoning sacrifice for us.  How grateful we are for Him and the many blessings we receive in our lives because of His great love for us!
