We love General Conference all the time, but now we love it even more because that means my Mom and Dad (and sometimes Spencer, when he doesn't have school) get to come visit! Hooray!
All the girls were able to go to the Relief Society broadcast and then out to dinner at the Garden with my Grandfather some of the Nelson family. It was such a great meeting and a fun girls night out. Thanks again to Grandfather for dinner, it was delicious as always!
We were also able to go up to my parents cabin with everyone a couple times. I love it up there and also love that it is so close. It makes it super easy to go up there often!
Emma was pretty much attached to my parents from the second she saw them and would wake up every morning asking for them. The first thing she said to my dad when we picked them up at the airport was "papa sit down" which is her way of making sure that you aren't going to leave her anytime soon.
Emma is very independent, she doesn't like people to help her, ever. Lately if you ask her to hold your hand while walking somewhere she will say "I hold Emma hand" and walk around like this.
Obviously she has everything under control. No help is needed.
We had dinner one night with my Dad's brother and their family. Emma was thrilled to show everyone that she got a cup of ice cream. It is hard to say who loves ice cream more in this family, Emma and Todd both share a slightly unhealthy addiction.
In between the Sunday morning and afternoon sessions we all met downtown for lunch. We usually eat in my Dad's office but he doesn't have one anymore since he lives in a different country.
Sorry about Emma's belly.
Here are Emma and I hanging out while my parents were packing up and getting ready to head back to Japan.
We had so much fun having my parents visit for 10 whole days! Tally flew in for the weekend as well which was also great. We missed Spencer though and can't wait for him to come in April! Good thing we have Skype so we can still talk to each other often!

this post comes at the best best time. i feel like crying for you feeling so happy that your parents get to come home for conference! so lucky. and i loved the emma holding her own hands picture so so much.
i also need to tell you that i thought i saw tally sitting in front of me at church on sunday. texted dantzel and she said it could be him and told me to say hi. i accepted the challenge. you know where this is going - it wasn't him. i confirmed three times. and when i asked him, "is your name tally?" he replied, "no, it's austin. but i could be tally! are you in the singles ward?" thanks for making an awkward conversation even more uncomfortable austin. long story short - i wish it really would have been tally for so many reasons.
end of my novel. wait - and you are looking so cute!! i can't wait for baby #2. now i'm really done.
What great pictures! I LOVE that Emma holds her own hand. :)
