February in Pictures

Our month of February wasn't too eventful but we still had a great month.

Miley has decided that she is far too old to take a nap. Most days this is ok but some days you can just tell that she really is beyond tired.  Sometimes, if we lay by her, we can convince her to fall asleep, other times if she sits still for too long she will just crash wherever she is.  It is hard to decide if we should let her sleep or wake her up though because if she does take a nap, she doesn't fall asleep that night until about 11.

If we go anywhere in the car after 3:00 in the afternoon chances of all four of my kids falling asleep in the car are pretty high.

Miley is turning into such a funny little girl.  She likes to wear my sunglasses and her helmet when we are outside and then often likes to leave them on for a few hours once she comes in.

Emma and Katelyn both had their annual eye exams.  They are always a little rough for me because the wait is usually long and no one likes to get their eyes dilated but this time was far better than any other appointment we have been to.  Mostly because they got new toys and the wait wasn't 3 hours.

We went to Graham's 2nd birthday party and got this great picture of Katelyn and Papa.  She is our little one that loves to hug anyone who will let her. Katelyn still loves to play with her magnet board and continues to make me send a picture to Todd of all of her finished products.

Our niece Maddy came to stay with us for a few days again during the month.  Our girls love when she is here.  It is always nice to have her here to help me out around the house as well. We all go through withdrawals when she leaves.

We also have been enjoying spring-like weather.  We always get teased at the end of winter that it is going to be nice soon but then it ends up snowing a few more times before spring officially sets in. We will take the warm weather while we can.

Emma and Katelyn were playing hide and seek with a little boy at the park and this was Katelyn's hiding spot of choice.

At the end of the month, my family had a temple night and then went to dinner after.  It was fun to all be together.

We had a great month and are excited for spring to come and to be able to spend more time outside.
