The girls both had their last days of school. They had great school years and both really loved their teachers. After Emma's last day of school we went to lunch at Chick-Fil-A to celebrate the start of summer!
We bought summer passes to our local county pool and have had a really good time swimming a lot this summer. We usually go there 2-3 times a week and the girls have all gotten a lot better at swimming. At the beginning of the summer I thought that I would never be brave enough to take all four swimming by myself but we love it now! The girls love it when we can get Camden to fall asleep at the pool because that means they get to stay longer. They also love eating lunch there as well!
We had a fun swimming party at Carrie's house. Emma and Katelyn love any time that they get to spend with their cousins!
My family all went to the premiere of Finding Dory. We all really enjoyed the movie but I think that my kids liked that they each got to have their own box of popcorn and pick out their own drink!
Emma and Katelyn tried really hard to stop Todd from going to work one morning. They are pretty convincing but he still had to leave, much to their disappointment.
Miley continues to enjoy riding her bike and she really loves to wear old dance costumes. She can't wait until it is her turn to go to dance!
Jeffrey and Brooke had their new baby boy on June 16! They named him Benson Bruce Ringwood and he is just the cutest. He was close to being the heaviest grandchild, but Emma and Katelyn have him beat by one ounce. Benson (3 days), Rosie (3 months), and Camden (8 months) will all be in the same grade in school when they are older. Camden looks like a giant next to them!
And most importantly in June we celebrated Father's Day! We are pretty lucky to have Todd as that Father of our family. He is such a caring and loving Dad. He is always worried about how to make everything fun, and exciting, and meaningful for our kids. They love to be with him so much! He puts all of the girls to bed almost every night and they love that time with him every day. I am so glad that Camden has him to look up to as an example of an amazing husband and father! Plus it helps that he is really handsome. ;) We really hit the jackpot with this guy. We don't always tell him enough but I hope that he knows how much he is loved and appreciated every day!
And that wraps up our month of June! We love summer and the relaxed schedule that we have!
