Birthday Celebrations

The Sunday before Katelyn's birthday we had my siblings over for dinner, presents, and cupcakes.  My parents joined us, as usual, via FaceTime.  Emma did a great job helping Katelyn open all of her presents.  Katelyn was a little overwhelmed at first but soon got the hang of it and loves all of her new toys and clothes! 

Tally and Abby gave Katelyn this little princess chair that she loves and my parents gave her the Ariel doll that has not left her side since.

On her actual birthday she woke up with balloons in her room, which is always the highlight for my girls.

We kinda just hung around and had a normal day.  Todd was able to leave work early for a meeting we had at Emma's school and we took the girls to the playground at the mall for a little while after.  We are party animals around here!  Tally came over after work and we had her choice of pizza for dinner and then opened her presents from Todd's parents and us.

November 23rd is my birthday.  It was a great day!  I was able to sleep in a little and Todd brought me breakfast in bed, hash browns from McDonald's, my favorite! I opened presents and went and got a manicure and pedicure.

Tally and Abby were so nice and watched the girls for a long time while Todd and I went downtown to eat and then we ventured up to Crystal Hot Springs.  It was a pretty interesting place but I had a great time being with just him all night, it doesn't happen very often anymore.  He didn't even look at his phone! It was a GREAT day!
