New Year's Eve

We spent New Year's Eve up at my parents cabin with my family.  We had a great time playing games, doing puzzles, watching movies, and eating lots of food!  It was so nice having my parents and Spencer home for the holidays and being able to spend so much time with them.

The girls stayed up until about 10:30 which is much too late for them and we paid for it the next day, but they had fun watching movies on the air mattress, and playing with glow sticks that my mom brought up for them.  The 31st is also Jeffrey's birthday so we sang to him and had mud pies for his cake.

Jeffrey and Brooke left after midnight because she had to work the next day.  My parents went to bed, and the rest of us stayed up way too late playing Ticket to Ride.  I won, which made it all worth it.  The next morning we woke up and went to breakfast at the Silverfork Lodge, and then headed home.  The sickness that was going around my whole family finally caught up to me and I spent the rest of the day in bed, so that was a bummer. 

Overall, this holiday season was a big success and we were sad to see it end.  Happy New Year!
