Birthday Celebrations

We had a great few days celebrating Emma's birthday.  During the week Todd came home from work during lunch to take her out to lunch for her birthday.  The girls love one on one time with their daddy.

 The Tuesday before her birthday she got to go on a birthday date of her choosing with my mom and dad.  She chose to go to Color Me Mine to paint some pottery and then to Chick-fil-a for dinner and dessert.  She was so excited to go for about two weeks leading up to it. She knew exactly what she wanted to paint and did such a great job!

Emma was so excited to wake up to balloons, decorations, a birthday breakfast of her choosing, and presents.  We love how excited Emma gets about everything.  She is very grateful for everything in her life and is very easy to please.  We know it won't last forever so we are enjoying it while we can.

I was able to go to Emma's class for something called a "walking report card" that her teacher has the parents come do before parent teacher conferences.  It was fun to see Emma at school and how well she is doing. 

After school, we hung out around our house and did whatever Emma wanted to do, which included making some projects on her new sewing machine. She was in heaven all day.

For dinner we headed to Zupas and she got her favorite cheese sandwich and tomato soup.  After dinner Emma and Todd headed down to the Jazz game and had a great time.  Emma didn't quite make it to the end of the game, she said she was too tired to stay, it had been a busy day for her.

The next day was her birthday party.  She was so excited for it and had been planning it for a long time.  She decided to have a smaller party and go make jewelry and The Bead Farm at Gardner Village.  The girls all had a great time and it was fun to watch them all work so hard.  They were all very proud of their work. When they were done making their jewelry, they played a few games and then we headed home.

At our house we had lunch, played musical chairs, had a pinata, cake and ice cream, and opened presents.  I think that they all had a great time.  Emma was one happy girl.
