Christmas Day!

Christmas Day was so great this year! The girls woke up around 7:30 and we went and opened our gifts from each other. It is fun to watch them get excited to give gifts to each other.

Camden woke up in the middle of us opening our presents so he got to come join the party.  After we were done with the presents upstairs, we headed downstairs to see what Santa brought us! Todd was getting ready to video record the girls coming downstairs and they started singing "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" it was the greatest.  It is their favorite Christmas song so they know the words to almost all the verses.

Seeing their faces as they walked down the stairs was pretty great, Emma was so excited!

Emma asked for a fort building kit, a remote control car, and a stuffed flamingo.  Katelyn asked for toy trains, toy cars (who knows where those two came from), and a stuffed unicorn. Miley asked for a pink Minnie Mouse.

Santa brought the girls walkie-talkies and it was so funny to watch the girls try to figure them out.  They would sit right next to each other and yell into them saying "I can't hear you!" They have since gotten much better at them.

We spent the rest of the morning playing with our new toys and shoveling all of the snow that we got that morning. Then we headed over to my parents house for our fondue lunch and exchanging presents.

We forgot to take a group picture on Christmas so this was taken the Sunday after Christmas.

 After my parent's house, we headed to Todd's sister's house to spend time with the Glover family.  The little kids acted out the Nativity (Emma was excited to be able to play Mary), we played games, and just enjoyed being with each other.

It was such a great Christmas! We loved being able to spend time with both of our families and be able to focus on the true meaning of Christmas.  We can't wait until next year!
