Kindergarten Graduation

Emma graduated from Kindergarten on June 3rd! She really excelled in school and we were so proud of all that she was able to accomplish. We have always worried about Emma overcoming some of her vision difficulties once she was in a classroom setting but so far she has done so well! She got a perfect score on her end of year testing and is reading on a 2nd grade reading level!

On her graduation day, the class had a wax museum where they were supposed to orally present the animal report that they had been working on. Emma decided to do a flamingo. By the end of the program there were pink feathers all over the classroom!

Todd was there too! I swear we took a picture of Emma with Todd and I but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Singing some songs that they learned throughout the year.

Emma loved having Mrs. Karren as a teacher! She was just what Emma needed as her first teacher and she really helped Emma feel confident and excel!

Congrats, Emma! She is so excited to start 1st grade because she gets to eat lunch at school and have THREE recesses!
