Our cute, little Miley turned three on June 20th. It is hard to believe that she is already that big. Sometimes we still treat her like our little baby girl but then we look at her and realize that she really is growing up. She has been one of our biggest struggles over the last year but also one of our greatest joys!
Miley has very strong emotions. When she is happy she is really happy but when she is sad she acts like her world is ending. Luckily, she is happy more than she is sad. She has grown so much over the last year. It is fun to look back on videos of her during the year to hear how far her speech has come! She loves to be able to tell us exactly what she wants all of the time now.
Miley loves to be independent and thinks that she is just one of the big girls. She has been counting down the days until she gets to go to school just like her sisters. She is very smart and already knows all of her letters and the sounds that they make. Emma and Katelyn are her favorite people in the entire world and lovingly refers to them as "sisters".
Miley's favorite foods are are any types of sugar and yogurt. She would eat yogurt for every meal, every day if we would let her. She is a terrible eater at all meal times except for breakfast. The second she wakes up she wants to eat and she eats more than Todd and I at breakfast most mornings.
Miley is such a great big sister to Camden. He loves with she plays with him and especially loves she she sings primary songs to him. Miley LOVES to play on any electronic device. She thinks that her ipad time is the best part of the day and gets very bothered if it doesn't come right after lunch time.
Miliey has turned into quite the tease lately. She knows just how to push everyone's buttons and finds it quite amusing when she can tell that she is bothering them. Even though she is a tease she can be very sweet. If you ask her in the right way she would do almost anything for her sisters.
Miley went through a phase where she was pretty difficult and had some pretty serious tantrums. It was a little difficult for a while but she has started doing much better! She also finally decided to potty train. She was our easiest child to potty train. It took about 2 hours and one accident and she had it down. We were so proud of her!
Miley gave up her naps almost a year ago but still could use them so we find her asleep throughout the house or car a few times a week. It is always so cute to see her sleep but it usually makes her stay up until about 10 or 11 that night. Miley loves to read books and her room can almost always be found with about 30 books on the floor. She also really loves to do puzzles. Miley loves to color and do anything outside, especially going on bike rides.
We love our little Miley Girl! Happy Birthday, big girl.
